It was a pleasure, while building programs at the Mount, to collaborate with colleagues such as Jason. I've always appreciated his personal touch, his willingness to present informative financial aid sessions to our students, many of whom were the first in their family to attend college. His consistent care and concern as a critical mentor and guide to them, providing them with an overview of financial options, as well as his demonstrated commitment to facilitating access to first-gen and underrepresented populations, characterize his approach. Jason's steadily increasing scope of responsibility speaks to his professionalism, his desire to cultivate his potential, and his power as a role model for many of our students.

I have worked with Jason for over three years. Jason has always been extremely helpful not only to myself but to all of my students as well. This past year Jason received the staff spotlight award for HEOP at Mount Saint Mary College for his continuous efforts to help and mentor our students. He is a great professional with a wealth of knowledge in his field (financial aid) but has also been a great role model for students within the college.
