I worked in IEEE DTU as a Web Designer and Developer, and was an integral part of IEEE DTU Web Development Team. I was involved in organising many events like, Special Interest Group (SIG) meets (where our team discussed UI/UX, advance CSS, and JavaScript), and Troika's events like Mist (an online treasure hunt, built on Bootstrap and PHP), Bulls N' Bears (an online virtual stock market, built of PHP, jQuery and vanilla CSS), and Design Pro (web designing competition). Since the target audience was assumed to be technically fragile, the UX played a crucial role while developing the website. I was responsible for designing the registeration and sign up forms, as well as a multi step form to update the profile of a candidate. Used various Bootstrap extensions to enhance the visual experience, and used native jQuery to manipulate and control the form data and fields validation. Since the website was built on Laravel Framework, I also gained valuable experience in MVC Architecture. Show less

Since the entire code was released under an open-source license, I also got accustomed in collaborating to such projects through DVCS like git, and it's online social platform, GitHub. I didn't continue to work there as I was involved in many other projects and academics, plus, SwifIntern.com was our first step in product development. It is no longer actively monitored. Left it in July 2015. Show less
