  PRODECA is a public company within the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Catalonia. Its objectives are the promotion of Catalan agrifood products at the national and international markets. PRODECA provides support services in commerce and internationalisation to Catalan agrifood companies, facilitates participation in the main International agrifood trade fairs, organises business forums, runs programmes on commerce and market diversification, etc. PRODECA bases its work on coordination between associations and agents that are involved in agrifood sector to answer the different needs of the Catalan agrifood companies. PRODECA also organises business meetings, commercial links and cooperation between Catalan companies and different agents in national and international markets. PRODECA participates in initiatives related to Catalan Gastronomy and Mediterranen Diet as a tool to improve the position of Catalan agrifood products at home and abroad. Show less
