I am pleased to recommend Jacob Beaty. Jacob reported to me for about five years at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. Among other projects, Jacob led the modeling and analysis of complex private label mortgage backed securities and whole loan mortgages. He played a critical role of stress testing investments and aggregating results for our Dodd Frank Act Stress Test submissions. Jacob consistently delivers analysis and insight that has been of very high value to our business, tackles challenging projects, and is extremely efficient in his work. He is a pleasure to work with.

I got to know Jacob in early 2009 as we both were involved in the cash flow modeling of private label (non-agency) mortgage backed securities for OTTI evaluation for our respective Banks. Since then, we have had multiple interactions both on a regular basis and on special projects such as the FHFA-DFAST stress testing (analogous to the Fed CCAR test). From my interactions, I could say with great confidence that Jacob is very knowledgeable in the area of banking and finance, particularly in the area of credit risk management. I strongly feel that Jacob would be able to contribute to the success of any organization and I do not hesitate in recommending him.
