  One of the software engineers on Yahoo's "paranoids" (previously part of Verizon Media & Oath's InfoSec). I also had the wonderful opportunity to work with the AOL teams that support the open source Arkime network session inspection tool.

  Sunnyvale, California Designed a dynamic filtering component in React.js that could query Verizon’s NetApp system information directly from within our web application. This helped users, especially those unfamiliar with relational query languages, monitor specific parts of the system. Also included in the project was setting up a Presto cluster and introducing the team to React’s new context and hooks state management.

  Kennedy Library California Polytechnic University I worked with the graphics and UX team at the Calpoly Kennedy library to create an interactive web component in React.js. It was a floor by floor map of the library that showed where resources were located and also kept track of real time events. Computers in use and reserved rooms were highlighted so students could get a better idea of availability at a glance.
