I was responsible for the development of Soloshot 3+, an improved version of Soloshot 3 with better shielding and electronic components. I worked directly with the CEO and CTO on design development and testing of EMI shields and new GPS and IMU units. Once we locked in the electronics and shields I designed the internal and external plastics, working directly with our suppliers for DFM revisions. In addition, I designed a number of accessories, including a revised tripod, carrying case, waterproof cover and a number of fixtures for assembly and testing of units. Throughout my time I helped the quality assurance team develop methods for testing and validating units, as well as working on prototypes for upcoming products. Show less

FIRST Robotics Competition hosts team robotics competitions for high school students worldwide. Each year, teams are given a different set of complex tasks for a robot to accomplish, both autonomously and under human control. Teams are given six weeks to design, manufacture and program a robot weighing up to 120 pounds. Teams advance through regional and world competitions. In my first year, I was one of the main machinists for Team Paradox and was the driver in all competitions. We won the San Diego Regional, besting 65 other teams, and advanced to the World Competition in Houston. In my second year I continued as driver, but also became a lead designer, leading our elevator mechanism. In competition we achieved finalist in San Diego, and ranked 4th in Houston Championships. Show less
