The period I participated is marked by the implementation of racial quotas in selection processes for scholarship holders of the Tutorial Education Program (PET). In this sense, the Local Committee for Evaluation and Follow Up of PET Groups at UFU (CLAA) has the objective of guiding more than 20 groups about the philosophical, conceptual and methodological aspects of the Program, as foreseen in the Brazilian Law no. 11.180, of September 23, 2005. Planning and promotion of events aimed at Teaching, Research and University Extension. Alongside 13 other colleagues and a university professor, more than 75 actions were carried out impacting more than 200 students. In 2020, the group was recognized by the evaluation committee of PET groups as a reference in community outreach actions. Research proposing the modeling and compensation of systematic errors in Electrosurgical Units (ESUs). Different mathematical models were developed using regression techniques. The proposed error compensation method allows a safer operation of the ESUs, without leading to large costs.
