I work with all families within the Religious School to ensure an inclusive learning environment for their children. I currently track 60+ students ranging from Pre-K/Kindergarten thru 12th grade. Whether students have unique learning differences or food allergies I craft individualized classroom care plans for each student with suggested modifications and/or accommodations to the curriculum. Additionally, I collaborate with the clergy and Hebrew tutors to ensure students in the B'nai Mitzvah program are receiving the appropriate modifications and/or accommodations while studying and preparing for their Torah, Haftorah and D'var Torah portions. I oversee the Madrikhim Program, which currently has 30, 10th-12th grade students who act as one-on-one support for students with special needs. I provide training's and continuous support for both teachers and teenagers. Also responsible for producing two Special Needs Shabbat Services for the community-at-large each year, with guest speakers for parents/care-takers and activities for the participants. I will oversee our Hebrew High School program for grades 7-12, ensuring that each grade has relevant and engaging curricula to follow including coordinating our Confirmation Israel Trip, Confirmation Service and Hebrew School Graduation.
