In the two years spent by Miguel to achieve a master degree under my advisory, he produced a creative architecture for building efficient software pipelines based on virtual containers and microservices. To create this architecture, Miguel designed shared-memory management, I/O traffic controller and operation management mechanisms as well as elastic process cloning schemes based on parallel patterns to achieve not only continuous delivery in the software pipelines but also continuous dataflow. This type of solution has been quite useful for adding properties to large volume of sensitive contents in the health and spatial domains to ensure content sharing operations in cloud storage services. The implementation of this architecture developed by Miguel has produced three good research papers (one published and two under review) where prototypes of software pipelines based on virtual containers were deeply evaluated. Besides his research work, Miguel has experience developing cloud storage services, mobile applications, web services, containerized systems, continuos delivery software pipelines and of course programming IPC and I/O management libraries in C. He is an autonomous and hard worker that I am considering is able for managing and facing up complex challenges of software development arise in real-world scenarios.
