Daniel Martin is an art director and designer of incredible calibre. Simply put, one of the best I have ever worked with. He's both great at the craft, and great at generating the ideas behind the craft. Some of my fondest memories at work have been jamming on ideas with Dan and coming up with some of my favourite pieces of work ever: The Poo Jogger, Hawaiian Pizza Shapes, and The British Tim Tam Collection just to name a few. He's extremely collaborative and outgoing, which makes working with him an absolute joy. Just pop over and run your thoughts by him and all of a sudden you'll be in a fully collaborative brainstorm that ends up getting you the best possible result. And on top of that, he's just an incredible craftsman, plain and simple. His attention to detail is second to none, and his artistic style is gorgeous. I can think of no better Art Director to add to a team than Dan Martin.

Dan is an incredible Art Director and a real value-add to office culture. A talented designer, a strong team leader and a great personality to have on your team - I hope to get to work with Dan again in the future. Dan and I have worked together on video, print, digital and social campaigns. I've seen his creativity when tasked with expanding out a concept and turning it into something special - as well as his ability to follow a brief and organise a team around a goal when its clearly laid out. Highly recommend Dan and would be happy to speak to anyone further about him. Dan, thanks for bringing our work to life, and making it all look great!

Oh, man, where do I even begin with Dan? As our Studio Lead Head Designer at Touch, Dan was the glue that held our design team together. Not only is Dan a total design wizard, but they're also one of the most uplifting and supportive people I've had the pleasure of working with. Every day, Dan came into the office with a smile on their face and a contagious energy that made us all excited to tackle our projects. They were the ultimate cheerleader, always ready with a high-five or a fist bump when someone on the team nailed a design or had a breakthrough moment. But don't let their sunny disposition fool you - Dan is a total pro when it comes to design. They have an incredible eye for detail, and they always pushed our team to come up with fresh, innovative ideas. Even when we hit a roadblock, Dan was always there to guide us and help us find a solution. What I appreciate most about Dan, though, is how they truly cared about each member of our team. They made sure we all felt heard and valued, and they created a work environment where we could be ourselves and have fun while still producing top-notch work. I can't recommend Dan highly enough. They're a design powerhouse with a heart of gold, and any team would be lucky to have them on board.

Bug is a brand and graphic design agency encompassing logo, corporate ID and website design. In my role as a designer, I worked to briefs and specifications; brainstormed and developed ideas; created, researched and sourced imagery; designed new concepts or worked to client templates; presented ideas and finished artwork to clients; fine-tuned designs; produced print-ready files; and oversaw pre-press. I worked in collaboration with clients to ensure their needs were met without compromising the quality of the design. I was required to liaise with clients and printers on a daily basis. I designed annual reports, brochures, flyers, catalogues, branding, packaging and websites, as well as performed image manipulation. Clients included UNHCR, UNSW, Marrickville Council, GU Energy, Data Squirrels, Red Cross, Anglicare, Aegon and Subaru. Show less
