Pavithra- What can I say? I was fortunate to get to work with her in Bangalore at Dhruva, then BYJUS, then Bigfatphoenix Interactive. She is smart, inventive and has a strong structural appoach to her game design and product approach. Pavithra is also a considerate, communicative and enagaged person to work with- Not just an active listener, but a highy pro-active contributor, not afraid to ask questions or make suggestions. We worked together with a very good friend of mine, a hugely experienced Creative Director called Gregg Barnett (Discworld series, among others), who has seen many young talents arrive, burn out, and move on. He spotted Pavithra early, and flagged her talent from the start of her career. I am glad to say she is living up to it :) I recommend her very, very highly for any project that needs a strong, creative and diligent game design contributor.

Pavithra is easily one of the best all-round designers I've ever had on any of my teams in my career spanning over two decades. Her firm grasp on design principles, meticulous and rigorous approach to design, and clear thinking help her solve problems in a refreshingly calm, direct and no-nonsense manner that is all too rare amongst creative people. In our time together at BYJU'S, Pavithra handled everything that was thrown at her - single-handedly delivering features from concept to implementation, managing a large team of young designers and mentoring their creative output, working with engineers and art teams to execute on a creative vision - with aplomb and poise. Pavithra has many traits that help her perform excellently in creative teams. Her calm and unflappable temperament in exceptional - in all my career I have seen very few designers who don't let stress get to them, and Pavithra is one of the best at this. She's a genuinely empathetic and caring team member, and endeared herself to all of us in her time here. She also has a practical and efficient approach to design, which makes her a product manager's dream because of her ability to avoid getting caught up in random ideation and get the job done without compromising on quality. In her time on my team, if I were to pick out one standout quality for Pavithra, I would point at her constant focus on the user. Pavithra was one of the very few people on the team who would regularly take the time to test designs and prototypes by herself, without relying on formal playtests. This is far too regrettably uncommon, and this will help Pavithra be a standout designer wherever she works. Pavithra was one of my go-to designers at BYJU'S because she brought a rare mix of technical and emotional skill sets to my team, giving her the ability to adapt easily to any role and responsibility. I look forward to the chance to working with her again. If you're looking for a skilled designer with leadership qualities who can adapt to multiple roles in large and small teams, Pavithra is easy to recommend. ]
