I am working in the Global Design & Build company specialized in office fit out, as budget manager, and this on projects to quantify ranging from 100 K € to 4 000 K €. Initially hired to the position of quantity surveyor and estimator, I was led to diversify my function involving myself in the management of construction sites. This exciting and versatile dual function allowed me to follow many projects from conception to construction. The description of these two functions would be: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator: - Realization of the quantity surveys and making up budgets for the construction projects and interior design. - Visit of the construction sites to survey in accordance with our customers. - Creation of the price schedules / technical specifications. - Meeting with external partners for some specific projects. - Presentation and defending the proposals. - Passing through all the required information on won projects towards the other Project Managers. - Strategic surveillance of the competitors. - Updating our DB with new prices, construction techniques and materials. Project Manager : - Control all the details before starting the production. - Creation of the planning for execution of the works. - Comparing prices and negotiate with our suppliers and subcontractors. - Management of purchase orders and invoicing. - Follow-up of projects. - States of progress and discount. - Establish reports of the meetings. - Discounts and reception of works.
