I decided to take my love for start-ups and small businesses and apply it while finishing school. It has been a pleasure to help these companies set (or reset) their processes, procedures, and policies. There is nothing more rewarding than the excitement and satisfaction my clients feel when they see the pieces falling into place. Consulting on leadership development, employee and customer satisfaction, and business analysis has also been extremely educational and rewarding. Business Operations and Change Management
-
Jan 2017 - Jun 2021
I returned to Superior Service Corp. after the successful sale of SoCal Biofuel. Though I missed the fast pace, challenges, and overall vision of General Management, it was exciting to dive into my real love-- operations and employee development. I know they sound worlds apart, but they truly go hand in hand. I found a passion for growing the people and the organization which spurred my hunger to learn all I could about both. It was time to pursue my degree in Business Management (with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management and Accounting). I left employment with an open invitation to return.

General Manager/ Operations Officer
-
Jan 2010 - Dec 2014
As General Manager of SoCal Biofuel, I oversaw the supply chain from yellow grease collection through refinery and delivery of the finished product. I managed the office, plant, personnel, finances, day to day operations, and collaborated with the CEO on our goals and vision. I created and analyzed performance reports for each aspect of the company. The CEO and I planned our goals and brainstormed solutions. I turned those solutions into reality. My team and processes took the company from $100k in revenue to $400k in one year, and sold 4 years later at $500,000/yr in profit for $2.5M.

Customer Service Manager and Trainer
-
Jun 2006 - Dec 2009
I started in this company as a file clerk fresh out of high school. I was promoted through the ranks rather quickly, and ended as the Customer Service Manager before I was invited to general manage their sister company, SoCal Biofuel. My duties revolved around the customer service training program. On my way to management, I handled accounting and human resources. I once received a CHAMPS customer service award from one of our customers (a KFC franchise) that was meant originally and exclusively for field technicians. My customer service is award winning;) Customer Service has always been, and will always be, a passion of mine.
