Adam is one of the most valued people in every project I’ve worked on with him. He has an excellent mindset and his skillset is admirable. I look up to him and I Admire his work ethic.

Adam was my co-presenter during our open day live radio broadcasts, he was fantastic to work with and became confident in presenting and interviewing people live during our two hour slots. Would happily work with him again

    • Freelance EFL Writer
      • Jun 2021 - Present

As a freelance EFL writer at Football League World, it’s my job to produce content for hundreds of thousands of viewers per month. This content includes: breaking news pieces (including transfers), opinion articles, list pieces, fan reaction articles, transfer round-ups, stats analysis stories, verdicts (courtesy of other writers), quizzes and multi-page galleries. Content is produced for Championship, League One and League Two clubs - giving the opportunity for readers of all backgrounds across the EFL to view our content for free in tough economic conditions. Producing around 12 articles per day, FLW writers work in a fast-paced environment to provide articles of substance to fans of clubs across the second, third and fourth tier of English football. • Assistant Editor

This role combines two of my passions: Reading Football Club and journalism. The Tilehurst End is Reading's #1 fan site and has been running for nearly a decade now.As an assistant editor, it's my job to write news and feature articles, continuing to produce my match previews for the games, editing and publishing submissions as well as posting to the social media pages.

Since the start of the 2019/20 season, I have been the sole match preview writer at The Tilehurst End, taking additional coverage from another writer in the same department who has work commitments.I started a minor role in writing match previews in late 2018, sharing the duty with another writer. I used a similar template for the match previews that he did to keep continuity within these previews. However, after taking this role on as the only match preview writer, I have been given the chance to control the content and layout of the articles. I'm very pleased to be in this role at (arguably) the #1 Reading FC fan site, being verified on Twitter and mentioned on BT Sport.I fully believe that the match previews are the first thing that some Reading fans read on a matchday. Therefore, I aim to entertain readers with a long read before the kick-off.Some of my earlier work can be found here: https://thetilehurstend.sbnation.com/2018-19-match-previews-reading-fc Show less

During the summer of 2020, I worked with the Herald across their Surrey and Hampshire editions from home in this unprecedented time for reporters and journalists across the world. After spending time at national level with the Express, I reverted back to working with the local media voluntarily whilst this crisis continued to have an impact on media organisations across the country. Although I had written for the Herald before, this was my first time working at a newspaper, albeit in a virtual format. Show less

As an intern at the Daily Express, my role was to produce online sport articles. I had the chance to work in an office environment with some of the best sports reporters this country has to offer, whilst producing content of my own to enhance my journalistic skills. Please message me for examples of my work I have produced. As an intern at the Daily Express, my role was to produce online sport articles. At Snack Media, my job was to create multiple articles per day as a sports writer at Football League World. Before I finished my first year at university on Friday 17th May, I decided to get in contact with Snack Media to see if there were any opportunities available for me to make the most of during the summer. After both a video call and then a conversation with the Head of Content (of Snack Media) in London, I started a trial period with footballleagueworld.co.uk (which is part of Snack Media) on Wednesday 22nd May. This was with a view to a summer-long role. When this trial period finished, I was offered a regular writing role which I finished in mid-September before starting the second year of university. Sales Assistant specified in the large footwear department at the Bracknell branch of Sports Direct. This was a fast paced zero-hours contract job in which communication (often via a radio) was key to efficiency and success. My job included serving customers (of all ages), till work (which included till training), processing stock and making sure products were security tagged, distributing stock to the correct areas of the store and making sure the store looked tidy. The job included team work and individual work (especially when I was the only person serving footwear in one section of the store) and the customer service aspect of this job was very important, and now I have experience in this. From the 6th June – 10th June 2015, I spent a week doing work experience at Thames Water. In this period of time, I spent my time doing a mixture of physical work and office work. The office work included ICT and databases on the computer. This work experience allowed me to access different aspects of the workplace. Taking part in this work experience allowed me to collaborate with the staff of Thames Water to make sure that all the work was completed.
