  Designed and implemented programs and activities focusing on the holistic development of children making the classes a fun-filled experience. My style of teaching encourages kids in learning intangible yet essential skills like teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, improved social skills, mental health benefits, and interpersonal skills including cooperation and leadership. In turn, these classes have health benefits like cardiovascular fitness, improved coordination and balance, improved motor skills, discourage the use of gadgets and help keep adolescent obesity in check. Created lesson plans and delivered instruction to four physical education classes with an emphasis on achieving social and life skills through physical activities and teambuilding. Used team sports to create a sense of unity amongst the students while promoting a competitive desire to improve individual skills.   My residential camp of proximately 160 learning challenged/or high functioning Autistic children located in in the Adirondack Mountain of New York State. Northwood's programme is designed to offer children with primary learning disabilities, social immaturity/ or secondary emotional disabilities an opportunity to successfully participate in camping activities while receiving the extra professional support and structure necessary to meet their individual needs. I was a part of a counselor team of four working with a group of seven campers aged between 11years to 12years. This position of responsibility required me to work closely with my co-counselors in order to create strategies to provide their campers with a structured, consistent and nurturing environment in which the children could develop a greater Self-esteem, Social skills and Independence. Although the majority of campers under my care' counselor team possessed similar immature level of sophistication, they also presented with a variety of learning challenges that included Attention Deficit Disorder, Language Processing Deficits, Asperger 's Syndrome and auditory processing deficits.
