Muvu is a stealth StartUp that is building a multimedia storage cloud application. In Muvu I have worked in several important modules, such as file upload, metadata extraction, screenshot extraction (for video files), massive storage and video encoding. I have also developed an Oauth library used to authenticate in social networks and blogs in order to share files from the app. Almost all the modules are REST services developed in Java, and the encoding module also has a sub-module developed in C++. I have also been involved in some I+D projects, some of them have relation with machine learning algorithms, such as face detection, face recognition and skin detection. Other projects were related to video streaming, like DLNA streaming from the cloud.
