Worked within waste operations and disposal, and redundant landfill. I helped manage waste data tonnages across the county going between different waste facilities or disposal sites, and raised and managed the financial costs. Each month I received data and invoices from across the county, which I checked and cross-referenced waste tickets and loads, pass data onto relevant councils, and input data for waste data flows. I used a number of computer programmes simultaneously to do this. I authorised vehicles from different authorities to tip their waste at different disposal points, and acted fast when there was a vehicle stuck on a weighbridge. I visited disposal sites when necessary. I was responsible for monitoring and managing redundant landfill sites across Devon. I monitored, met contractors in situ, compiled reports and inspected the sites on a monthly basis to ensure there are no environmental implications. I passed electrical panel entry training, off road 4x4 vehicle and driver development training, and CSCS training to competently do my job. Show less

I provided excellent customer service on the phone to problem solve, guide and manage customer queries. These range from Feed in Tariff queries, renewable energy source questions, meter reads, billing, sales and complaints. On a call by call basis I liaised with other departments, used various computer programmes simultaneously, and used administration skills to send correspondence to customers. I have visited a solar PV farm learning the lifecycle and management of these projects, and have observed energy trading. Show less

As a team of two, I was responsible for advising, answering questions and giving guidance to first year students on Earth Science courses from drawing on my own personal experiences. Sessions ran on topics regarding revision, essays, field trips, organisation and presentations. I planned and facilitated activities. I completed a reflective portfolio of each session; my entries are being written into a journal to be published.
