• Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, 403 B plan, LTD, Life, Health, Dental and Worker’s Compensation as well as claims reporting. • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws. • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, non-exempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking’ extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; conducts exit interviews. • Develops, implements, records and interprets agency HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the Executive Director and other seasoned agency management. • Prepares updates of the compensation package; including updates of job descriptions, conducts salary surveys as needed and reviews benefits.
