Educated the hiking public about the rare and fragile alpine communities of the Adirondack High Peaks Region in New York State. Conducted biological inventories and monitoring for the New York Natural Heritage Program. Camped in remote backcountry sites and completed strenuous hikes each day to a nearby summit.
