Create, update, maintain, and troubleshoot programming for HL7 messages. Provided afterhours on-call support for interface related issues. Successfully implemented several new interfaces including lab results to an EMR solution, ADT, Orders and Results to a cath lab PACS solution, and ADT and diet orders to a patient menu solution. I am currently part of a team developing several new interfaces for Epic, our new EMR program. Our interface engine runs on AIX and I have written several shell scripts designed to monitor our system. I developed a series of shell scripts to perform version control on our interface projects, tables, and scripts. I developed and maintained documentation on all of our interface projects.
