Natasha McCreesh is a joy bringer, cultural explorer, and humanitarian. She walked away from a 20-year-long corporate career with no plan other than to only do work that brings her joy. Four years later, her life is unrecognizable and more satisfying than she could ever have imagined. On this path, Natasha has collaborated on projects with people of passion and purpose. She coaches and mentors organizational leaders and their teams so they get the most out of their life and work. With a strong focus on putting passion into perspective each year, she also takes groups of leaders to Liberia in West Africa to demonstrate the undeniable connection between powerful service and transformational leaders. Natasha was a featured guest on my podcast--

Natasha has been a great bouncing board for me. She's always full of energy and was one of the few people who challenged me to think differently. I also love the fact that she's willing to put herself out there and say what others might not.

Excited to be part of this new team within Good Things Foundation, delivering on our vision of a world where everyone benefits from digital. My focus is on digital skills and digital inclusion for employability and financial health. My purpose is to develop partnerships and support fundraising so that we can continue to deliver impact at scale and within communities.

    • Digital Social Inclusion Manager
      • Mar 2020 - Jul 2021

I applied for this this role as I was enjoying working with Good Things Foundation and decided that working within this sector was something that I wanted to pursue as a career change, a big leap after 6 years working for myself. I was thrilled to be offered the role and become a permanent colleague at Good Things Foundation. Within this role I took on Programme Lead responsibilities for the Power Up programme in partnership with JP Morgan Chase Foundation in March 2021. Power Up is funding 15 community-based projects in East London, Bournemouth, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Its aim - to drive economic inclusion through digital in communities - helping organisations embed digital skills into support for employability, financial inclusion and small businesses. In the summer of 2020 I added to this project management of an emergency coalition response to the pandemic, supported by Mastercard Impact Fund, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Clean Slate and APLE Collective. This project aims to join the dots between digital and financial inclusion and has continued into 2021. Show less

3 days a week Fixed Term Contract until March 2020. Used motivational interviewing techniques to gather impact and reach insights from a network of over 5000 centres around the UK. Initially took on this contract as a means to learn more about how a major funded and grant giving organisation works, how to measure social impact and what it takes to deliver on outcomes for donors and investors. This learning was intended to primarily inform the work that I do for Big Idea Liberia and also answered an inner desire to do work that has positive social impact in the UK. Undertaking this contract enabled me to divert time spent on business development for my own business into writing the business plan, creating an investor pack and processing a CIO application with the Charities Commission for Big Idea Liberia. • Strategic Business Collaborator, Coach and Mentor
      • 2014 - Jan 2020

I enjoy a collaborative approach to coaching, mentoring and strategic collaboration, creating space for strong growth. Specifically, I design and implement personal development programmes for organisations with turnover of £250k+, develop strategic business plans for start ups, lead personal development workshops for SME's and coach/mentor leaders for personal growth. WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT WHAT I DO? You are straight talking and ask me the questions that no-one else will. Often challenging, always supportive. You help me imagine greater. I have ideas for my business and when I share them with you will often expand them to double or quadruple what I imagine in terms of impact. You brought me clarity by joining the dots between the different tools I was using…so now I have a meaningful framework for bringing structure to my thinking and my actions, and as a result I feel in control and ready for action. You have a way of asking about a challenge in a quirky and direct way that makes you really think. You asked insightful questions which challenged and redirected my thought processes. I love how you marry your straight talking business head with your girly being. You helped me figure out how to express my dream in a way that really engages people. So they "get it". You helped me share/communicate my mission in a way that makes peoples eyes light up when I talk about it. You helped me to take an honest look at myself and discover my inner strengths, values, passions and what I stand for. You helped me to discover my essence and how I would use it to make a difference. You gave me different perspectives and shared stories which made me think more deeply about my direction. I have received from you understanding of how to be present for others. How to listen and be truthful to yourself and others. You helped me to understand that authenticity isn't about being original, it isn't fixed, it is where we are right now. Show less
