  The European Patients’ Academy on Therapeutic Innovation (EUPATI) provides education and training to increase the capacity and capability of patients and patient representatives to understand and meaningfully contribute to medicines research and development (R&D), and to improve the availability of medical information for patients and other stakeholders. My main responsibilities during this internship involved improving and expanding the EUPATI Toolbox —this is EUPATI's core product: an online platform providing information and resources on the R&D of medicines in a manner that is easily understandable and accessible to persons of all academic levels. My main activities included: ◦ Mapping, organising and coordinating the development of new Toolbox materials and translations (through WordPress) ◦ Translating the main Toolbox home page and related strings ◦ Improving the search functionalities and filtering tool ◦ Content creation: writing a new ‘about’ page, user guide, and 'COVID-19 Vaccination resources' webpage ◦ Supporting the promotion of articles on EUPATI communications’ channels through various social media platforms.
