Nerissa is a dynamic, visionary and hard working graphic designer that I thoroughly recommend. She is also great fun!

I have worked with Nerissa for the last 15 months, and she is an absolute pleasure to work alongside . Her fabulous creativity has helped my marketing ideas come to life, and drive brand recognition and of course sales at Sterex. We worked very closely to ensure the Sterex rebrand and new website design were implemented. We have a very similar mindset in terms of what we feel will work well, which makes us a great team. She is professional, works to deadlines and can be fully relied on for any creative work . I would recommend Nerissa to anyone who needs some top class graphic design.

Tempdrop is a femtech device used for tracking fertility and monitoring women’s cycles. My main role involves creating social media graphics & templates in Canva to enable team members to edit content if changes are required. Scheduling of content in Hootesuite and directly to social channels. Other responsibilities were creation of blogs graphics, web banners, adverts for social channels in static and video form, reel content creation and animations. Video editing in Premiere Pro. Created brand guidelines for the brand refresh, branded materials for digital and print such as digital brochures, an 82 page interactive e-book, flyers, event graphics and Powerpoint presentations, Created html signatures for staff. Produced a number of digital illustrations in the branding style as well as medical digital illustrations used in posters for doctors. Created html emails and designed and built email templates in Mailchimp & Klaviyo. Daily use of Asana for project management & task workflow. Trained junior designers and other staff members on Canva and Hootesuite. Prioritising & managing workload essential with many projects from various teams who often have no insight into other projects. Show less

I have been freelancing as a Graphic and Web Designer for various clients since 2009 and have recently completed all my freelance projects which kept me going for over a year after having moving to Birmingham, West Midlands. I have no freelance projects on the horizon and I am looking for my next agency contract or better yet permanent role. I specialise in creating engaging content for both digital platforms and print graphics. I create Wordpress websites for clients large or small. I create their logos or brand identity, business stationary, marketing material and SEO optimisation. Companies that I have created for include: Tradepoint B&Q, Sweaty Betty, Toni&Guy, The Body Shop, Floorplanz (Knight Frank, Harrods, Foxtons, Savills, Hamptons for Property marketing brochures and online content), Luxe Beauty Lounge Leatherhead as well as other companies. Main responsibility was to design marketing emails for products to be sent to the UK and the US. Designed them in Photoshop adhering to strict brand guidelines and style as Sweaty Betty is a premium women's sports brand. The designs had to be created for desktop and mobile versions. I then had to prepare the files for coding, testing and then sending them out. Emails were created for desktop and mobile devices. Photo retouching and enhancing required, as well as creating interesting textures to go with seasons design trends in existing assets. Environment was very fast paced. There was allot of creative freedom in terms of the designs, which I really enjoyed. It was a great company to work for. Show less

I was responsible for looking after the RHS School Gardening Website, maintained it and created updated and extra pages. I was responsible for all html marketing emails from design to implementation, keeping inline with a very established identity. Was also involved with web statistics and database maintenance. Worked closely with the client and maintained the Content Management System too. I dissolved my partnership as my business partner bought me out. We had an IT and design company which focused on designing and creating websites, Brand Identity, business stationary, print design, networking, hosting and various other IT services for clients in all different business sectors. I was the Creative Director so anything relating to design was done by me. My partner dealt with the development and technical I.T services. I maintained the company website by updating news sections, changing and maintaining content etc. I was responsible for designing and printing the company brochure; a copy can be seen on request. I was responsible for changing business cards and ordering new ones; I designed really large promotional banners and set up the files for print. I was the only contact between the company and the printers. I was then put in charge of maintaining the marketing requirements of the company as well. I was supervised by one other person but had a fair bit of responsibility in making decisions. I was required to keep an eye out for relevant I.T magazines for marketing the company in order to reach a very specific target market. I was given a very big event to manage after not being long in the role. My responsibilities for this included: creating very large graphic panels for pop-up stand banners, printed pens, brochures, and other marketing materials for the stand at InfoSEC a renowned I.T event. I had to have various conference calls in order to set marketing targets and then report on ones that were achieved. I had to stick to very tight design and print deadlines, and achieved this successfully. I was able to work very well under pressure when when given alot of responsibility in a very short space of time. The company was sold to Trustwave and I opened a Ltd company with a partner.
