Bio
Brendan Guiney
Ben worked for us at MidCoast Water as a part of our program to help undergraduate engineers meet their industrial experience requirements. He was a valuable team member, working initially in a contract support role particularly at our $85 million Bootawa Water Treatment Plant construction project. In a later stint, he prepared a concept report for water recycling at Bulahdelah as his civil engineering thesis at Griffith University. The project has now been constructed along the lines of Ben's concept investigations. Ben adapted quickly on a steep learning curve and on this basis I have no doubt he will continue to have a successful engineering career.
Cullen-Ward David
Ben was in charge of the procurement, quality oversight, quality measurement and QA recording, problem solving, production programming and daily cost reporting for a number of precast concrete product lines. His greatest achievement was the successful management of super T girder manufacture for the Pacific Hwy Upgrade. Ben showed a level of maturity and dedication that would be expected in a more senior role.
