Parents were notified of "Two or More" and responded positively as they formed relationships with other parents and took turns transporting and/or carpooling. Students who walked home were encouraged to participate, and as a result of the success of "Two or More", the program ended up becoming mandatory for student’s enrolled. Parents and teachers positively identified with "Two or More" as it increased the students safety in numbers, decreased the number of students left behind, and promoted friendship and positive social supports.
