As Editor-in-Chief, I look after the entire magazine, including articles, social media content, and the weekly newsletter. I also lead the editorial team, make plans to grow Carrot, take part and organise events to expand the popularity of Carrot and recruit new writers. I hold and lead weekly meetings which set the agenda and answer any questions the team may have. I also do final editing on pieces written by junior writers and use Wordpress to publish articles onto the Carrot website. Lifestyle Features Intern

As a Lifestyle Intern at Hearst, I worked across the three titles in the Lifestyle Hub: Good Housekeeping, Prima and Red. My role involved sourcing stories, pitching to editors of each brand, interviewing case studies, writing first-person pieces and communicating with PRs and readers. I also looked after Prima admin and inbox, as well as learning how to use their CMS.
