What Heather did in 9 months, impressed everyone. Everything else was not equal: lockdown had begun and our charity acquired another similar charity during those 9 months. Heather collaborated well with peers, coached direct reports, invested in relationships and earned equity which she 'spent well' at strategic moments. Heather's combination of relational strategy with a digital outlook enabled her to join dots which needed joining, finding ways and means to join them when it wasn't obvious. As one example of this, Heather initiated and took to launch, a digital platform and version of an existing individual giving product. Since launch we have seen strong, continued response. The digital aspect of this reflects Heather's ability to integrate across channels, platforms and audiences. And, she made it easy for the substantive post holder to transition back in, through thorough and supportive handback. We're grateful to Heather for what she brought, as a person, a fundraiser, a team leader and a digital innovator.

Heather has been a joy to work with. She stepped in to a maternity cover just as the UK went into COVID lockdown and yet she rose to the challenge and proved herself to be an adaptable, creative, efficient and agile manager. Within a few weeks it was as if she had always been in the team and she has been a great asset to the charity and to her colleagues. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

All We Can has served the most marginalised on earth for the last eight decades – since a group of Methodists answered the call of refugees in Europe, in the 1930s. All We Can's story is about the inherent value and potential in all people. Whether children fleeing tyranny; communities facing extreme poverty, or families hit by disaster, we answer through partnering local innovators, projects and churches to unleash inherent potential. Ethiopiaid's approach is simple and effective. We raise funds for and make grants to local Ethiopian partners to achieve lasting change and improve the lives of some of the country’s poorest and most vulnerable communities. We know our strengths and our limitations. We do not promise to change the world, or even all of Ethiopia. What we do know – from firsthand experience – is that our partners make the biggest difference in their local communities. Ethiopiaid's approach is simple and effective. Camp Holiday Trails is a caring community committed to empowering, encouraging and educating Campers with chronic illnesses, their families and healthcare professionals. We strive to create community: with our Campers (aged: 5-17) who gain empathy and independence, with our families who find common ground with other families facing similar challenges, and with our network of medical volunteers who are forever changed, both professionally and personally, by their time at camp. Our camp community gives and receives support, remains loyal to our mission – and has fun together! Our alumni are welcomed back at any time, for any reason, with open arms. Camp Holiday Trails is a welcoming place. Everyone who passes through our gates joins a community with common goals: to embrace nature, celebrate individuality, cherish health and well-being and cultivate a deeper appreciation of what it means to belong to something — to be a part of a caring community. Summit Realty was acquired by CBRE in 2007 and I was brought along as part of the sale. My role was to support CBRE’s President in creation of new office/team and continue supporting the previous President from Summit in her new role as Vice President as we successfully and seamlessly integrated several previous offices into one cohesive team.
