Super efficient and hardworking is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Katie. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Katie for a little over six years, during which we were both involved with one of the student governments in college. Above all, I was impressed with Katie’s ability to trouble shoot and come up with resolutions to any problem whenever we had our weekly meetings. She served as our organization’s Executive Treasurer which comes with a lot of responsibility which to most could be overwhelming, but she managed it flawlessly. I was particularly impressed by Katie’s ability to handle even the toughest situations—effortlessly. That skill often takes years to develop among professionals, but it seemed to come perfectly naturally to her. I was always in awe of Katie’s ability to command a room and get people on board with ideas—even people who were initially on completely different pages. And, of course, her enthusiasm, and outgoing personality made it super easy to work with her and bounce ideas off of one another. Also, on a personal note there is one specific word that she embodies and that’s dependable. She can come through in any given situation and does not mind helping out whoever she can at the drop of a dime. This is something I have always admired about her and feel like it’s an important asset that is not easy to come by these days. As a team member or a leader, Katie earns my highest recommendation.
