Nemours Estate children’s programs center on well-being as well as informal learning. The Estate places access and equity at the center of all of its offerings.

  I worked with audiences at Nemours Estate and with patient families at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Until recently the Estate and the hospital had not cooperated on many activities and no educational programming existed at the Estate. I built a new type of museum education program which prioritizes pediatric hospital patients both at the hospital and on-site at our historic property.

  I worked as part of the interpretive team at Nemours Estate, the 47,000 square foot home of American industrialist Alfred I. duPont. Major responsibilities included engaging with visitors to help facilitate engaging, entertaining and immersive experiences. I also took guests on 30 minute highlight tours or one hour complete tours of the mansion. In addition to guiding, I assisted with special events and outreach at the estate, including: - Co-manage Instagram for #nemoursestate- Helped to create and organize programming for Family Fun Day featuring live broadcasting from local radio station WSTW. -Designed exhibits for the holiday season. -Created custom children's activity trail for the holiday season.
