She is among the best PMs I had in my entire career, always available to chat when there's an issue and a good listener, as well as a problem solver.

Rebel Business School Aotearoa (RBSA) is a social impact business focused on activities and projects that lead to the development of small businesses that enhance the local communities in which they start. Rebel Business School Aotearoa runs free to attend 10-day Business Courses covering 20 workshops to give business owners the necessary skills, knowledge and capability to get their business off the ground, as well as providing ongoing support through a graduate Alumni programme. RBSA's data shows the positive impact of attendee small businesses on regional economic growth. As Head of Sales and Commercial Partnerships, my role at the RBSA is to build relationships with existing funding providers, and seek out new opportunities both in the Public and Private sector. At RBSA we are intentional about making small business available to anyone and everyone. Working with our 'Chief Kiwi' my role is to develop and execute upon an ongoing sales strategy; and looking at new ways to engage and bring RBSA to regions across Aotearoa. • Events and Marketing Manager- El Barrio Latino Bar
      • May 2019 - Present

Having had a connection to Latin America for over 16 years, upon my return from Argentina I was keen to create an entertainment/community space in Wellington to connect New Zealanders and Latin Americans together. I was then introduced to the owners of Epic Hospitality, and worked with them to co-found Wellington’s iconic Latino Bar El Barrio (‘The neighbourhood’). I now manage the events and marketing for El Barrio. I work with various communities and cultural groups both in Wellington and other parts of New Zealand to organise regular music and dance events. Including independence day events, Spanish Language Week, fundraisers and our involvement in Cuba Dupa, the Wellington Jazz Festival and Wellington on a Plate. Also proud to have represented El Barrio at the 2019 New Zealand Latin Awards, bringing home awards for ‘best bar/restaurant’, and personal awards for ‘Latin Attitude’, ‘Cultural Promoter’ and ‘Latin Attitude’ again in 2020. We were also finalists in the ‘Vibrant Category’ of the 2020 Wellington Gold Awards. Show less

Vodafone is one of the world’s largest telecommunications providers. I focused on the acquisition of new business opportunities across medium to large organisations, from corporate to government through to multinationals. My role as Business Development Manager at Vodafone allowed me to do what I do best; my inclination to being customer focused; thinking strategically; and using my extensive experience of building long term relationships with stakeholders and partners. I am passionate about connecting people and organisations, with the view to taking action and seeing an idea turn into a business opportunity. Rather than focusing on selling products to customers, I built strategic relationships and worked both internally, and with external partners, to build teams of dedicated individuals to work with clients. I helped my prospective customers make the right decisions. My motivation, passion and drive allowed me to excel in my first year at Vodafone where I was placed in the top 10 for monthly revenue on our National Sales Leadership Board; and I achieved 115% of my annual target (achieved within 9 months).
