Trained with both TEFL and TESOL qualifications, I embarked on a summer in Thailand to teach English to children at underprivileged schools. Through this, I developed my open-mindedness from the challenges faced with trying to teach children aged 7-13 how to speak in a language they're unfamiliar with. Needing to come up with creative and fun ways to engage the students. This was a very rewarding opportunity that I would encourage many to try at least once.
