I extensively worked on a project titled 'Integrated Calcareous Phytoplankton-Ammonite biostratigraphy at the boundary of Pachchham-Chari Formation, Kachchh Mainland, Western India'. The project aimed to determine the paleoenvironment and age of the deposition of the Kachchh mainland. I collected ten samples and some complete and broken fragments of ammonite from the Keera dome section (Boundary of Pachchham-Chari Formation). It was interpreted that a moderately preserved, well-diversified nannofossil assemblage comprising thirty nannofossil taxa was recovered from eleven samples collected from the core of Keera dome. The Nannofossil assemblage is well dated to lie within NJ10 (Stephanolithion speciosum Zone) of Bajocian age and NJ 11 Pseudoconus enigma zone of Bathonian age, The nannofossil species 'Asicidian Spicules' in all the basins show the marine setting of the basin.
