I would give Nikki my highest recommendation as an Engineering professional and trusted employee. Nikki worked in my department for over 4 years and was always a reliable team member. The innovation she showed in her approach to design and value engineering resulted in tangible savings every year for our department and the company Divisions we served. Her mature demeanor and professionalism was evident in all interactions with coworkers, customers and consultants. She was not afraid to spotlight a problem and then collaborate with those involved to find a solution. Her ability to shut out distractions and focus on a project until its completion was instrumental in our team completing projects accurately and on time. Part of those four years Nikki worked remotely from the main office through a telecommunication arrangement without any reduction in quality or quantity of work produced. Her consciousness and work ethic are beyond reproach. Working with Nikki, I always felt like I was working with a very talented and intelligent individual who performed her tasks extremely well yet she was always looking for a better way to do the next project. I’m sure Nikki will continue to be a success in both her professional and personal endeavors.

Under the direction of a P.E., implemented a new in-house engineering department for the Northeast Area, which included up to 5 divisions to be supported. Projects included new top down house structure with value engineering initiatives implemented, value engineering of existing product, shop drawing (roof and floor truss) reviews, material quantity takeoffs and FTP server site maintenance. Contributions and Accomplishments: • Consulted with architects on the front end to implement value engineering initiatives into new product design and engineering. Provided full set of structural markups or complete AutoCAD drawing sets to be reviewed and approved by P.E. on all new product using Keymark software (Whole House Design Software). Value engineered existing product, which also included plan conversion to updated IRC codes as necessary. 150+ plans were either created or brought up to date with engineering department now being Engineer on Record. • Proactively consulted with roof and floor truss vendors to ensure shop drawings were matching provided architectural drawings and meeting engineering requirements before reaching the build stage. Was able to address engineering or design issues up front. 120+ plans were reviewed for quality control to provide consistency and accuracy in plan layouts across the Northeast Area. • As part of the value engineering initiative, provided floor and roof decking layouts (in AutoCAD) for accurate material quantity take-offs. 110+ plans were completed. • Managed FTP site (Buzzsaw) for entire area. This included providing support to the divisions through training, trouble shooting and maintaining the local division sites and memberships to ensure productivity was not being affected due to site or membership problems. • Co-creator of “Pulte Anat-a-home-y – Looking at the Home as a Living Structure” project, used to train sales personnel in order to better inform them why company product was superior to competitor product.

Collaborated with engineering team members to run and support the PHS Building System consisting of SIP exterior wall panels, panelized floor systems with space joist open web floor trusses, pre-cast concrete foundation wall panels and panelized light gauge interior steel walls. Contributions and Accomplishments: • Successfully learned, utilized and evaluated the new Keymark Whole House Design Software to maximize production, while also continuing to work with developers to evolve the program for optimal usability and functionality. • Involved in creating and implementing a quality control process at the component design stage to minimize production or build issues. • Certified in SIP Wall, Floor Deck and Foundation Wall Design. • Successfully managed and resolved all plant or field issues in relation to floor deck design, from truss design to panel layout. This included troubleshooting machinery (code or drawings issues) to creating field repair drawings due to damage in the field, installation issues or other items that would otherwise delay build production.
