  - In six years of teaching, taught over 1100 students in Federal and State Government courses ranging in size from 8 students to 28 students per section.- Provided lectures, assignments and assessments to students to determine competency of course objectives set forth by the discipline, department, college and district.- Encourage students to engage in their civic duties, including registering to vote and voting in elections (if eligible), engaging with state and federal lawmakers through correspondence and assess current political events and identify why the event will impact them or their community.- Attend semesterly convocations and various faculty development seminars held at Northwest Vista College as well as other institutions within the Alamo Colleges District to further professional development in my role.   - Assigned to Professor Daniel V. Sanchez through December 2014 and Henry Esparza through May 2015, helped to facilitate lectures and maintaining the online course materials of classes ranging in size from 150 to almost 400 students per section.- Other primary office duties included: meeting with students to discuss grades and course material queries, updating records and materials on Blackboard Learn, grading several major assignments each semester for responsible sections and also serving as a relief grader for Reader/Graders when necessary, and helping staff the Office Pool in proctoring, copying and office duties as necessary.- In four semesters, graded over 1500 core paper writing assignments as required by the department within course sections under assigned instructor's responsibility, and over 500 core paper writing assignments as a relief grader for other sections. In Spring 2013, was assigned to Jeff Harmon's Intro to American Politics course that was also designated as a Quantitative course designed to fulfill a future graduation requirement for all UTSA undergraduate students.In Summer 2013, was assigned as a RG to Dr. Thomas Bellows, and also to serve in the Political Science and Geography office to complete tasks necessary for the functioning of the office.   Compile research, links, tables, data and printouts for Dr. Thomas J. Bellows in regards to Taiwan, Singapore and other East Asia countries in reference to elections, cross-strait relations and trade between the ROC and PRC.Also worked from September to November as the GRA for Dr. Stephen Amberg in compiling research about trade agreements with the United States and other countries.
