I'm teaching Interaction Design at the Maastricht Institute of Arts. My main fields of expertise are UX design, co-creation and game design. At the Maastricht Institute of Arts we empower students by teaching them a wide set of 'languages', ranging from visual languages to coding skills. And whatever they are going to research, innovate and design, they will do it with empathic skills, ambition and creativity. I'm teaching Interaction Design at the Maastricht Institute of Arts. At the Research Center of Nutrition, Lifestyle and Exercise I support the research team in several of the projects. One in particular is the BETER programme, that helps people with chronic disease to change their lifestyle and live a healthier and happier life. - Project "Tuin van Eden", in which we conducted interviews and multiple co-creation sessions with teachers and kids to come up with a concept to create a healthy neighborhood and bridge the gap between two schools, the "Buurthuis" and local residents in Kerkrade West. - Citizens' guide to Harmony is a concept for a book which provides individuals with the tools (The Harmony principles) and insights to inspire others on their journey towards a better lifestyle. We conducted a literature study, a survey, interviews and co-creation sessions to come up with a concept which combines a traditional workbook with a "legacy" component as people pass on their knowledge and experiences. - Designing several Fact Sheets to summarize research findings of the different programs at the Research Centre.
