Burgett Intercultural Center. • Conducts research, locates best practices, and provides recommendations and/or direction as related to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) student populations. • Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops, and/or trainings for the purpose of providing or receiving information and skills relevant to the work of the Burgett Intercultural Center. • Prepares a variety of documents (e.g. correspondence, agendas, minutes, event programs, bulletins, reports, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information and/or creating documentation in compliance with established guidelines. Greets and assists all students, staff, faculty, administrators and community members who reach out to the office, in person or via electronic communication. • Serves as a host/facilitator for student dialogues and other events as assigned. • Commits to having regular availability for attending assigned weekend and evening activities. • Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with the Director and Graduate Assistants. • Serves as a caring and compassionate role model to other students. • Provides office support and additional duties as assigned.
