o2 Utah is an environmental nonprofit whose mission is to clean our state’s air, protect our public lands, and eliminate our contributions to climate change by showing up where it counts: elections. As Policy Director, I engage with stakeholders and elected officials on innovative solutions to combat Utah's air quality issue. o2 Utah is an environmental nonprofit whose mission is to clean our state’s air, protect our public lands, and eliminate our contributions to climate change by showing up where it counts: elections. POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change. POW is a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations. While at POW, I worked directly with our athletes, brands, CEOs, and community members to advance climate action at the federal, state, and local levels through interactive and educational programs and events. I worked cross-departmentally and managed contractors to achieve our goals and internally advocated for greater diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the organization. Show less

HM&CO is a strategic, fundraising, and non-profit consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. under the thoughtful direction of Helen Milby. We specialized in moderate democrat candidates and innovation ideals. While at HM&CO, I worked on two nonprofit portfolios, The Global Women's Innovation Network, a bipartisan non-profit that promotes women in public policy and innovation-driven fields, as well as the Foundation for Nuclear Studies, which provides a forum for the discussion of nuclear technologies and applications with the objective of helping policymakers to make informed decisions regarding nuclear technology issues. As Development Associate, I executed briefings, roundtable discussions, salon dinners, board meetings, and fundraising events and helped track these efforts. I also oversaw all compliance to House and Senate Ethics Committee standards. Show less

Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster represents New Hampshire's Second Congressional District. A Democrat, she has served on the House Committee on Agriculture, Energy & Commerce, as well as Veteran's Affairs. While working for Congresswoman Kuster, I re-enacted and managed the Congressional Ski & Snowboard Caucus, a bipartisan group of members and staff committed to ensuring healthy outdoor recreation economies and communities. I also managed the Congresswoman's congressional internship program, oversaw direct constituent correspondence, office logistics, ethics, and the Congresswoman's day-to-day schedule. Show less

St. Lawrence University is a private liberal arts college located in Canton, NY. It's mission is to provide an inspiring and demanding undergraduate education in the liberal arts to students selected for their seriousness of purpose and intellectual promise. It also happened to be an amazing place to learn, live, be an athlete, and advocate for. When not racing for the Division I Alpine Ski Team, volunteering at local Bittersweet Farm or adhering to my duties as Vice President of Chapter Development for Tri Delta Sorority, I worked in the Admissions Department alongside our Admissions Counselors to represent SLU to prospective students. Through 1v1 tours, accepted students days, written and phone conversations, I helped answer any questions prospective families may have and helped them through the process of properly choosing a university to attend. Located in Nanyuki, Kenya, LF has taken a holistic approach to conservation that is reflected in the coverage of the programs and the way it works. Conservation in the LF is broad-based and covers essential natural resources, and clearly links the well-being of people to the health of the natural environment. Through this immersive fall internship, I worked on communicating complicated human-wildlife issues through the voice and lens of the organization. I documented water quality issues caused by a changing climate on the trails of Mt. Kenya and met with farmers and the national park service on issues of wildlife conservation. To share LF's findings, I helped create booklets, one-pagers, and interactive programming to share with local communities, tourists, and elected officials. Show less
