End Violence On Campus Chairperson
-
Aug 2018 - Dec 2020
I was one of the pioneers and chairperson of the End Violence on Campus (EVOC) club, that's aim was to end Sexual gender based violence and intimate partner violence among students in Moi University. This created an opportunity to influence change on sexual and reproductive health services offered at the MU health center by training nurses and staff on offering youth friendly and responsive services thus making the health center a one stop shop for the MU students.

Project Management Intern

Jan 2019 - Jun 2019
I was a trainee at the center for the study of adolescence, CSA Kenya.,where I was equipped with program management skills, advocacy skills, monitoring and evaluation skills all under reproductive health rights. My major role was to run a program at moi university, that was focusing on intimate partner violence and gender based violence, where we had counselling services offered to the victims and did set up a care support group for survivors of violence. I also advocated for implementation of a gender policy that was already developed by the university. Show less
