Marty is one of those people who seems to be able to adapt to any situation. When I met Marty, he was a bank teller & he applied for a sales associate position at dressbarn. Marty did not hesitate to be there for his customers, to learn about every aspect of the job & was soon promoted to Assistant Manager. While working at dressbarn he was going to school, working a second job and was pursuing his own business venture. Marty is a go getter and an asset to his employer and his customers. Making Marty a part of your team is a win for you, your team, your customers and your organization.

I began my career at Westminster as a part time custodian. During my first year I expressed my desire to become a full time employee and through hard work and earning a reputation I was honored a full time role. I believe my attention to detail, dedication and completing all of my tasks thoroughly and efficiently are what attributed to this. Although custodians are often overlooked, we have a very important role by ensuring the health and safety of our students and colleagues. It is important to me that the school looks like my home. Clean floors, windows and no dust or clutter. I hold myself to a high standard and complete my daily tasks with pride and in return I gain recognition and make an impression on current and prospective students which increases our enrollment rates. I began my career at dressbarn as a sales associate and was promoted to management a year after. I shared the responsibility of training and developing sales associates by teaching them effective sales techniques that were more organic and less likely to turn the customer away. In additon to retaining current employees, I was tasked with recruiting new ones. It was important to me to uphold Dressbarn's mission to inspire women and provide them with a comfortable environment to express their style, personality and to help them feel beautiful. I accomplished this by building strong, lasting relationships which led to repeat business and brand loyalty. Adhering to Dressbarn's visual standards and weekly marketing was another task that I upheld and ensured the team was able to keep the store refreshed, up to date, and most important, to inspire our shoppers.
