I worked with Ellen for eight months during her Co-Op at AbeBooks. Looking back at her time with us, it was her work ethic, engagement/ownership, sense of humour, and attention to detail that stands out the most to me. During the eight months, Ellen managed several ongoing programs and supported several cross-functional projects in which she had to fill multiple roles. Ellen’s legacy at AbeBooks is defined by her above-the-bar contributions to lead generation, seller acquisition, and a couple of projects that she took on (that would normally not have been owned by a Co-Op) in which she worked with developers to drastically improve (and automate) a few of our ongoing manual processes. I definitely recommend Ellen as there is no doubt in my mind that she will be a strong asset to any company that she ends up with.

I had the pleasure of working with Ellen during her time at AbeBooks. We worked closely on projects relating to lead generation, seller acquisition, and other account management tasks. Ellen has the attention to detail and creativity to generate leads that go on to deliver high conversion into customers. After a short time she demonstrated the calmness and confidence needed to start acquiring sellers through her own campaigns. The rapport Ellen develops quickly with customers was key to her success. She absorbs details with ease, and has the seamless organizational skills to manage a sales pipeline successfully, and still deliver on other projects. Ellen builds trust easily with team mates, and was a very popular member of our international team. If Ellen chooses a career path that includes sales and account management, I am sure she will be a great success. She certainly left a great legacy at AbeBooks!
