  Through the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program, I was generously provided the opportunity to study abroad and live with a host family in Berlin, Germany for a full academic year. The program was fully funded by the United States Department of State and included two seminars, one of which consisted of private admittance to the German National Parliament (Bundestag) building and the American Embassy at the end of our program.
