    • Team Lead: Health Screening and Health Education
      • Jun 2017 - Mar 2018

As a team lead for Interactive Health, I was responsible for all aspects of health screening events. At each event I communicated with the onsite point of contact and my regional screening manager to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of proper procedures. I was responsible for over $10,000 worth of equipment and the transportation of all supplies needed for each screening event. Each event required strict attention to detail and organization in order to comply with HIPAA regulations.Screening events provided me with the opportunity to train new health professionals on the job. This was an exciting challenge because I enjoy educating others, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment, and executing my duties while maintaining a servant leadership mentality. Finding a balance between offering leadership to team members for any and all situations, while also providing autonomy through delegation was a skill that I developed in this role. Show less

I conducted initial assessments for patients that were rehabilitating from major surgery. I performed blood and glucose monitoring and identified EKG rhythm abnormalities. I gathered patient history and information related to risk factors for heart disease in order to create a safe and individualized exercise program for the patient. I was responsible for providing the patient with direction on appropriate rehabilitation activities based on patient’s physical response to exercise. I worked as part of a team with other healthcare personnel, especially in response to emergency situations. Show less
