My principal duties include: - Handling telephone and email enquiries - Drawing up bespoke event proposals - Utilising the computerised diary management system to record client details, manage the venue event diary and prepare function sheets for other departments. - Organising site visits of the venue - Attending networking events and internal menu tastings - Managing events from start to finish: responding to the initial enquiry; negotiating the cost of the event and raising contracts; supporting and advising the client during the event planning process; preparing function sheets for the Operations team to run the event; greeting the client on arrival and introducing them to their event manager; gathering feedback on the event and developing the account where appropriate; completing the final bill.
