  In-charge of Future Card Buddyfight (English). A Japanese trading card game developed by Bushiroad.From its conceptualisation to its production, Julius has a hand in the numerous tasks involved. These tasks include liasing with Japan offices, translations, quality control, marketing efforts, and ultimately, production.What makes this job challenging and interesting is the variety of skills required. This job demands finesse in English and Japanese, an aesthetic sense, game experiences, an eye for details, and project coordination. All for the purpose of delivering a quality and fun experience for our players.During the course of his work, Julius has also helped with various tasks completely outside his job scope -- all of which he was more than happy to oblige. Some of them includes getting up on stage and camera to host events, provide gameplay analysis on a livestream, and writing stories for another Bushiroad product, Dragoborne.

  Julius has written two plays, one in 2016, and another in 2017, for a project consigned to 12 Feet Deep. The project was "The Best of You" by Julie's.His plays were staged in primary schools throughout Singapore. Besides writing the script, Julius also drew and coloured the backdrop projected scenes -- through the eyes of the primary school main character -- depicting her daily life in colour pencils. You'd be surprised at the creativity that grows from constraints!

  As an actor and talent for hire, Julius has been engaged for numerous jobs. These jobs include performing plays for schools throughout Singapore, emcee/hosting, skits promoting workplace safety for MOM, various MediaCorp productions, i.e Crimewatch, and also participating in the International Puppetry Festival in Yunlin, Taiwan as a puppeteer/performer.As a performer, many criterias and skills are required and expected of him. Possessing a natural inclination for learning and a curious creature, Julius can thrive even in a foreign environment and industry, being able to pick up skills quickly."The show must go on." In crises such as an actor not turning up, or pivotal costumes were not delivered on time, Julius has learnt to improvise and put up a performance for the expectant audience on the spot, with no prior script. Julius is able to work under pressure and adapt in order to deliver results.He has since stopped freelance gigs, however, the skills and values he has acquired over in this career has proved essential in any line of work, as confidence, communication skills, and learnability are immensely beneficial.He is now working in Bushiroad International as a Development Executive, but is often deployed to do other aspects of work such as game writing (Dragoborne), event hosting, gameplay analyst, and livestream commentator.
