Provide leadership, vision, direction, and administration for the Hallie Q, Brown Community Center in fulfilling its mission. Serve as the primary representative of the agency in the community and ex-officio member of the Board of Directors, keeping the Board members and chair informed of programs, funding, and organizational changes. Guide and lead the Board into effectively developing and executing strategic plans to ensure that annual and long range plans are developed and implemented and that goals and objectives are achieved. Oversee Human Resource Administration to ensure compliance and quality assurance. Approve and monitor all financial and accounting activities for the agency, oversee financial planning and forecasting and prepares the annual budget in collaboration with the Board and senior managers. Responsible for fund development, including fund raising and grant writing. Develop and maintain sound relationships with other community organizations, planning agencies, funding agencies, government agencies and officials and general public, serving as spokesperson for the agency.
