Main duties included the planning and periodisation of player strength and conditioning programmes, coaching of technical gym exercises and fundamental movement patterns. Other duties: Assisting with player fitness testing and musculoskeletal screening, as well as the preparation of pre and post training supplementation. Key Skills and Achievements: Motivation: As a coach in an elite sport environment, my motivational skills were vital in ensuring that all players were getting the most out of their training. Leadership: Undertaking warm ups, coaching and conducting fitness testing with international, professional and academy sportsmen. Knowledge Application: Implementation of the scientific literature in a practical sporting environment, and collaboration with practitioners who are experienced in the field. Recognition: I have maintained contact with the club, returning as assistant S&C coach for a 2 week period over Christmas. This was also recognised by the England Cricket Board, who offered me an internship position in early 2015. Show less
