Santiago was one of those rare talents who combined design expertise and originality with scientific curiosity and rigor. His thesis has inspired many students as an example of how design can both envision possible futures and reveal principles of human experience. He provided an excellent example of how to tackle the challenge to design for human well-being.

A creative, hard working, and very efficient designer and design researcher, he presents everything with great professionalism, and with beautiful graphics. We collaborated during his graduation project at the TU Delft, and after that, thinking and writing together as part of the Delft Institute of Positive Design. What I'm most impressed about Santiago was (and still is) his perseverance to bring Positive Design further, taking all opportunities to communicate about it and to put its tools and methods in practice. He is missed in Delft!

Como parte de la propuesta se pretende construir mecanismos que permitan la unión entre agentes públicos y privados para el desarrollo de modelos de tecnologías de información para pequeños agricultores (mini y microfundistas).

As an Industrial Designer I had to assist in the creation of a new concept of minimally invasive tools for diagnosis and therapeutics. Also, I design a technological cloth that simulates the abdominal cavity, in order to be use as a support system for surgery training. Through my work, Endoways has been able to prove their prototypes on animals and corpses. We have participate on the III Bioengineering and Biomedical engineering Conference (Pereira - Colombia), SAGES 2009 for poster presentation in Emerging technologies (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons). We have participate on BID network challenge business plans Competition getting the first place for the Innovation category and Ventures 2009 Competition getting the first place for General category.
