As a host, I manage and execute a live 2-hour weekend sports program "The Waterboys" on Hobart's highest rating FM station, providing information of interest consistent with format, genre, and targeted demographic audience.   "Brent Costelloe was the MC for a special tennis exhibition match played at the Domain Tennis Centre, Hobart in December 2015, between Australian Davis Cup player Sam Groth and tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt. It was the first time that Tasmania had hosted a former World No 1 men’s player for 40 years and the sold out tickets ensured it would be the biggest tennis crowd ever experienced in the State. To guarantee a successful night, the right type of MC was required. Someone who was informed, could ask the right questions to the players to enable them to open up, be flexible enough to interview young children and importantly a personality that could engage with the crowd to create atmosphere on the night. Brent excelled in all of these areas and was a key player in what was an extremely successful event.
