  My role at VASA includes the promotion of volunteering opportunities and the Saltire Awards to a large target audience of all ages across South Ayrshire. Since starting, I have independently created a marketing campaign for VASA to promote our volunteering service which has helped us to increase the number of volunteering enquiries significantly. This leads me onto another part of my role where I interview volunteers 1-1 and match them with one of the 200+ volunteering opportunities available. I am also responsible for social media content creation, promotional material and events management. This role has provided me with a lot of valuable experience and my confidence has greatly improved, for example I have presented to groups of 100+ students to promote our services - something I would never have done before!
