Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities • Working with current supply base to ensure on time delivery of goods/services while maintaining compliance to local, corporate, and industry regulations. • Leading the materials planning for the site – including when to buy and how much to buy – in support of the plant production/build schedules of all products • Manage the buyer/planner(s) and warehouse team • Working with finance/operations to conduct variance analysis and cycle counts as needed. • Responsible for ensuring the purchase and delivery of all materials needed for operation of the plant (MRO, facilities, supplies, etc) • Identify, analyze, and drive major supplier/procurement related cost improvement projects at the manufacturing plant level • Represent materials on the site MRB (Materials Review Board) • Collaborate with cross-functionally to achieve all plant goals – including PPV and inventory targets • Provide inventory procurement support to new products that are launching out of the Woburn facility • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to the facility, act as primary point of contact for site related issues to these suppliers • Lead efforts to negotiate and implement/renew Strategic Supply Agreements covering this facility where needed • Represent department in Sarbanes-Oxley, FDA, Internal, and ISO Audits • Support other critical business efforts as required Show less
